To lead the school's efforts in accreditation and institutional effectiveness and assessment support, and to maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.
Vision
The Office of Assessment, Accreditation, and Continuous Quality Improvement envision the Wayne State University School of Medicine as an institution in which all units and academic programs contribute to the fulfillment of the school's mission by establishing goals and outcomes, regularly assessing these with valid, reliable measures, analyzing and interpreting the data collected and employing the results for continuous improvement.
Aim
The Office of Assessment, Accreditation, and Continuous Quality Improvement's primary focus is to develop and implement a set of ongoing and systematic actions, processes, steps, and practices that include:
- Planning
- Assessment of programs and services (administration and student services)
- Identification and measurement of outcomes across all units
- The use of data and assessment results to inform decision making
All of these ongoing, systematic actions, processes, and steps are accomplished to improve programs and services and to increase student success and institutional quality.
