In fall 2017, the Vice Dean of Medical Education formed the Office of Assessment, Accreditation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (OAACQI) with the purpose of ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and delivering evidence-based data to drive a culture of continuous improvement at the WSU School of Medicine. The office consist of three distinct operational areas:
Identifies areas of improvement through data-collection & analyses to support informed decision making throughout the organization.
Accreditation & Strategic Planning
Ensures compliance with national accreditation standards and develops and implements focused strategies aimed at achieving optimal institutional performance.
Continuous Quality Improvement
Utilizes quality management tools to improve operational and educational processes at the School of Medicine.
